As a child, do you remember playing "Follow the Leader"? It's a game where a leader or "head of the line" is chosen, then the children all line up behind the leader. The leader then moves around and all the children have to mimic his or her actions. Any players who fail to follow or do what the leader does are out of the game.
A question comes to mind: who do you follow now? Some people follow a path of their own choosing, others follow what the world offers, while others follow the wishes of friends and family.
Let me present a case for someone you can follow who will never lead you wrong.
“The LORD is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way. The LORD leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant and obey his demands.” Psalms 25:8-10 NLT
He is good...trustworthy.
He does what is right...sets a positive example.
He shows the proper path...knows the way to go.
He leads by teaching His way...opportunities to learn along the way.
He leads with unfailing love...knowing with certainty that He cares for you.
He leads with faithfulness...will never leave you nor forsake you.
The key to following the leader is obedience.
The leader to follow is the Lord.
