“When we were at Mount Sinai, the LORD our God said to us, ‘You have stayed at this mountain long enough. It is time to break camp and move on...Look, I am giving all this land to you! Go in and occupy it, for it is the land the LORD swore to give to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and to all their descendants.’" Deuteronomy 1:6-8 NLT
Are you waiting for your promised land? Is there an area of your life where God has promised you victory...deliverance...freedom, and you find yourself still waiting?
Maybe God is saying you've been sitting at that mountain long enough; it's time for you to take the first step toward God's promise.
What is it that's holding you back?
Could it be, before moving on there is something that you must first let go. We have to be willing to let go of the past in order to embrace the new thing God is wanting to do.
“I am the LORD, your Holy One, Israel’s Creator and King. I am the LORD, who opened a way through the waters, making a dry path through the sea. I called forth the mighty army of Egypt with all its chariots and horses. I drew them beneath the waves, and they drowned, their lives snuffed out like a smoldering candlewick. “But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.” Isaiah 43:15-19 NLT
Are you willing to break camp and move on and see what lies beyond your mountain?
