“But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.” Matthew 6:6 NLT
Scripture reminds us of the importance of setting aside time in our lives to talk to The Lord...to listen to Him...to respond to Him. We have to be intentional in our daily practice. It requires discipline. Don't let life get in the way of your time with God today. It takes time. When there doesn't seem to be enough time in the day, that's when you need it most.
“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you..." James 4:8 NKJV
“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” Psalms 46:10 NKJV
He's waiting. ““Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.” Revelation 3:20 NLT
Take time to open the door; you'll be glad you did.
