Sing a New Song

“He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the LORD.” Psalms 40:3 NLT

I kind of like the old songs. Why do you think that God will give you a new song? I believe the answer is found in few other verses of scripture.

“But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:21-23 ESV

God's mercies are new every morning. Something definitely to be thankful for today. Something worthy of a new song - a new expression of thanks.
