“For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6
Jesus is Mighty God. How does this impact your life? As believers in Jesus Christ, we have experienced the mighty power of Christ through salvation. Paul writes in Ephesians 1:19-20: ”I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.” We have access to the mighty power of Christ. “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” Ephesians 3:20
We use it to defeat the enemy. “We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.” 2 Corinthians 10:4
Believe…act in faith. 1 John 5:4 says: “For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.” God has given us the victory – we must act in faith as though the victory were already ours. Walk in the victory of the one who has overcome the world. Be an overcomer. Bro.
