Have you recently found yourself asking the question “Why me?” Maybe you’re going through difficulties or pain that you don’t understand. If so, remember the words of Christ: "I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 NLT.
Jesus said, “you will have many trials and sorrows”. What you’re dealing with today may very well be proving this true in your life. Troubles exist…sickness exist…pain exist…we live in a fallen world. But Jesus says we can have peace in Him. Why? Because He has overcome the world.
So, how should you deal with your circumstances? You begin by focusing on your Savior not your circumstances. He has told you that He has overcome the world. Walk in His victory. Next, trust in His plan…look for His purpose and see how He wants to use you and what you’re going through to bring glory to Himself.
Do you want to experience true peace in Him?
Walk out your faith knowing that your victory is in Jesus.
Remember, Jesus said: “take heart, because I have overcome the world.”
