To love like Jesus is not a suggestion, it is a commandment.
"So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” John 13:34, 35 NLT How does Jesus love? "There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends." John 15:13 NLT "When they came to a place called The Skull, they nailed him to the cross. And the criminals were also crucified—one on his right and one on his left. Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.” And the soldiers gambled for his clothes by throwing dice." Luke 23:33, 34 NLT Jesus’ love is forgiving. "Be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you." Ephesians 4:32 NLT "Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God." Ephesians 5:1, 2 NLT Put others before yourself...forgive others, even when they don't ask for forgiveness...be kind to one another...imitate God and follow the example of Christ. Prove to the world that you are a follower of Christ. Love like He does. Bro. Joe
