As believers many of us find ourselves struggling with the same question: What's God's will for my life? Why not start by putting into practice something that is pretty simple to understand, but often times neglected, because we are in pursuit of what we believe are greater things.
“Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NLT
"Always be joyful" - “Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon.” Philippians 4:4-5 NLT
"Never stop praying" - “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 NLT
"Be thankful in all circumstances" - “And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 5:20 NLT
It's one thing to know God's will, but it's another thing to do it.
“Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.” Hebrews 10:36 NLT
Now that you know...do what God wants...and experience God's peace.
A joyful spirit...a prayerful heart...a thankful attitude.
