“Jesus was in the center of the procession, and the people all around him were shouting, “Praise God! Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the LORD! Blessings on the coming Kingdom of our ancestor David! Praise God in highest heaven!” Mark 11:9-10 NLT
It was a week that began with a celebration. An exciting moment with Jesus at the center of it all. The truth is He stayed at the center of all that occurred that week. However, the tone changed from one of celebration to one of condemnation. There was an arrest...He was tried and convicted. By the end of the week He was still in the center, just not the center of a celebration, but on the cross in the middle.
“A sign was fastened above Jesus’ head, announcing the charge against him. It read: “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.” Two revolutionaries were crucified with him, one on his right and one on his left.” Matthew 27:37-38 NLT
You and I have the opportunity to keep Jesus in the center...the center of our lives and the center of hearts.
Celebrate the Jesus living in you by remembering the cross and the empty tomb.
Keep Him in the center.
