“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.” Philippians 2:5-8 NKJV
In reading this passage we are told to "let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus." So, how do I take on the mind of Christ?
I see three examples in this passage that we should try and follow:
Bondservant, humility and obedience - three great examples by which to pattern our lives.
“For, “Who can know the Lord’s thoughts? Who knows enough to teach him?” But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 2:16 NLT
