“The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!” Matthew 25:21 NLT
This parable was told by Jesus of the master who had given three of his servants differing amounts of silver according to their abilities. Two of them took what was given to them, utilized it to produce more, and then gave it all back to their master. The other servant simply hid what was given him, and then returned it without producing anything from what he had been given.
In the scripture above, notice what the master said to the two servants who faithfully utilized what had been given to them.
Words of praise - “Well done.”
An Invitation - “Let’s celebrate.”
What has the Master entrusted into your care?
Are you utilizing what has been given to you in a way that will one day produce words of praise and an invitation to celebrate with the Master?
Oh, how wonderful it would be hear…”Well done my good and faithful servant”… “Let’s celebrate together!”
